Archivists from the University of Louisville are seeking the sights and sounds of the Louisville rock music scene to fill out their latest collection.

The University of Louisville’s Hite Art Institute is the new home for “The International Honor Quilt,” an assemblage of more than 600 quilted triangles honoring women, thanks to a gift from the nonprofit art organization Through the Flower, founded by noted artist Judy Chicago.

The university became Kentucky’s first public university to implement a living wage when it increased its minimum wage for regular status staff employees from $8.67 to $10 per hour in November.
